Mr. Ed
is a 9 year
old Shetland Pony.
Mr. Ed uses his cuteness to his
advantage, for he doesn’t like to
work and would rather pick at
grass all day.  Ponies like Mr. Ed
normally don’t stay too long, but
because of his ability to carry
kids as young as two makes Mr.
Ed a valuable asset to our
program.  Mr. Ed also doesn’t
mind showing up for birthday
parties from time to time.
Splash
is a 9 year old
Haflinger / Paint .
When he’s not with his buddy
Domi, Splash is working hard
at making our kids happy.  His
beautiful painted body and
cute face makes Splash one
of our kid’s favorites.
Domi
is a 7 year old Norwegian Fjord.
Fjord’s are one of the oldest
horse breeds in the world, and
are known for their great
temperament and extraordinary
strength, making them great
therapeutic riding horses.   Domi
is no exception, as his sweetness
makes him the “gentle giant” that
every kid wants to ride.
Goldie
is an 8 year old Haflinger.
Due to their strength and good
temperament, Haflingers are
considered to be one of the
best horses in the therapeutic
horse riding industry.  In
comparison to Norwegian
Fjords, Haflingers are shorter
which enables them to
accommodate more riders.
Lady Lui
is a 20 year old Pony.
Like Larry, Lady Lui is used for
our advanced
beginner/intermediate riders.
Because of her size, she
accommodates smaller riders
and brings them to compete
with her at horse shows.
Larry
is a 7 year old QH.
Larry’s talents lie beyond
therapeutic riding, for he is
able to walk, trot, and canter
at ease.   Larry is used for
our advanced
beginner/intermediate
riders, and can be a
pleasure to learn on for
many.
Lavinia
is a 7 year old Westphalian
Warmblood.  Lavinia was
imported from Germany in
2004, and came to America
with her owner Jessica.
Students who learn to canter
on the lunge line with their
hands behind their back,
proving they have obtained
the utmost balance in canter
are rewarded by getting a
lunge lesson from time to time
on Lavinia.
Daisy
is a 5 year old Pony.
Daisy came to us without
papers, and without a name.
 She obtained her name
through a contest that our
kids participated in, and it
was voted that the name
Daisy suited her just right!
Daisy is considered by
almost everybody to be the
cutest of all the horses and
ponies.  Daisy is currently in
training and is expected to
make her therapeutic riding
debut in 2009.
